The Danish Social Liberal Party works with five pro-democracy political parties and movements (Republican Party, Free Democrats, Lelo, Civil Movement and For Justice) through the Eastern European Centre for Multiparty Democracy (EECMD). The aim is to empower the five political parties/movements in terms of political communication and internal organisation.

Partnership Facts

Danish partner: Social Liberal Party

Local partner: Eastern European Centre for Multiparty Democracy (EECMD)

Project start: 2020

Through the partnership, the five parties get tools to become more resilient actors in Georgia's democratic transformation and to better represent the interests of the Georgian public through policy processes. This includes developing policies and voter outreach based on dialogue. The hope is to make the political projects offered by the parties more attractive to voters seeking social-liberal alternatives and to build trust towards the political parties/movements.

The empowerment of political communication and internal organisation take place through political party dialogue sessions, training for the political parties/ movements, and international networking and learning.
