The event will be centred around the reflections on the themes of democracy, security, and culture from the Copenhagen Democracy Summit and the visits of Ukrainian participants of summit to Copenhagen.

You will meet the Ukrainian MP and faction leader of the Holos Party, Oleksandra Ustinova; co-founder of the International Center for Ukrainian Victory (ICUV), Hanna Hopko; co-founder and executive director of the Anti-Corruption Action Center, Daria Kaleniuk, and Solomiya Borshosh, director of the Ukrainian Institute.

They will be joined by the Ambassador of Ukraine in the Kingdom of Denmark, Mykhailo Vydoinyk and Danish, member of the Parliament for the Danish Liberal party, Michael Aastrup Jensen, Lisbeth Pilegaard, director of DIPD, as well as select experts and activists for a chat, a guided tour around an exhibition dedicated to wartime art titled “The Muses Are Not Silent”, Ukrainian sweet bites, and a glass of the Ukrainian wine Shabo.

Nataliia Popovych, chairperson of Ukraine House in Denmark, and Solomiya Borshosh, executive director of the Ukrainian Institute, will share their thoughts about Ukrainian culture as a key investment in European democracy based on two projects which they will introduce at the Copenhagen Democracy Summit.

One of them is “Postcards from Ukraine”, which aims to record and demonstrate the damage caused to the Ukrainian cultural heritage by Russia during its full-scale war against Ukraine.

The "It’s Not Over" project includes photographs of the visual transformations brought upon Ukrainian cities by Russian aggression.

We look forward to welcoming you to the home of Ukrainian culture in Denmark.
